Over the years, the increased number of new projects, mine site expansions and global investments have made Latin America the world’s leading destination for mining and mineral exploration. However, the region is no exception to its set of challenges. Remotely located deposites and underexplored mines require the necessary funding and appropriate expertise to develop them. Scarcity of water, underdeveloped infrastructure, and shortage of skilled personnel are more problems which blanket the region.
Successfully launched in 2011, this year, the 2nd Annual LatAm International Mining Conference will be a one stop conference for miners, explorers and investors to think out-of-the-box and come up with a collaborative approach of doing business in the region.
